Comprehensive assessments and evaluations at Rimrock Foundation are used to help identify whether there are clinical and medical problems that exist and if so, to identify them. We use this diagnostic process to best determine the most appropriate levels of care required by our patients.
The assessment and evaluation process at Rimrock Foundation involves the following steps:
Step One: A psychological assessment of each client is conducted utilizing a series of objective tests. This session lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Step Two: An in-depth psychosocial history is gathered on each client. This session also lasts approximately 2 1/2 hours.
Step Three: Clinical staff members meet to thoroughly review and discuss the results of both the psychological assessment and the social history, then decide on an appropriate recommendation.
Step Four: A final session is held with the client, at which time the clinical staffing team shares their findings of fact along with recommendations for appropriate levels of care.
