Completion of the ACT (Assessment, Course, & Treatment) program is a State requirement for individuals who have been convicted of a DUI or similar offense.
Rimrock provides a scheduled open intake for individuals needing to complete the ACT program on Tuesdays at 4:00pm and Thursday at 12:00pm, excluding holidays. Rimrock must have received your court referral form prior to enrollment. During the enrollment process, you will be scheduled to complete the 12-hour course of Prime for Life. Rimrock offers three options for the course each occurring once a month: Fast Track (Monday 8am – 5pm, Tuesday 8am – 12pm) Fast Track Weekend (Friday 4pm – 8pm, Saturday 8am – 5pm) and Evening Option (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 4pm – 8pm). At the completion of the course, you will be scheduled for an assessment where our addictions Counselor will meet with you individually. During the exit interview, your final appointment, the Counselor who you met with individually will share with you the treatment team’s findings and recommendations. Failure to enroll by the enrollment date indicated on your court referral form or failure to complete all components of the ACT program may result in being reported to the court as non-compliant.
If an individual has been convicted with two or more DUI/DUI per se offenses in the past 10 years, State law requires the individual complete some level of treatment, as well as monthly monitoring for one year.
