This program is extensive. I enjoyed observing the drug court and jail group. I will be able to apply this information in private practice, work some of the information into our school, and take the drug court information to our county. Thank you for an educational and fulfilling experience.

What a wonderful service you provide! The most significant aspect of this program was to observe how well effective group therapy works. It was obvious that patients can benefit immensely from feedback and support from others. I want to go back to my school and incorporate more groups. The instructors all seemed very passionate about their work and they were definitely committed to helping their patients. It is a wonderful program. I would highly recommend it to every high school counselor!

Most significant was the human connection with the patients. In particular the determination to get healthy that was shown by some of the group therapy members. This has reinforced my core belief that a positive human connection is invaluable. I am leaving this program a better person because of the amazing and brave girls in my group. Group was intense. I have learned that maybe I am not as understanding as I should be when working with my students. The instructors were super prepared, professional, and interested in our being there. There was an abundance of useful information. The insight I have now about addictions will serve me well. You are all my heroes!

The most significant aspect for me was learning how much Rimrock Foundation does! All the different programs and services were very impressive: inpatient, outpatient, jail-based, adolescent, recreation, the library, lectures, field trips, WOW! I want to tell teachers and staff about the experience and disseminate information and handouts to teachers throughout the school year and let them know about resources. I really enjoyed the adolescent counselor and educator!! This was a fantastic experience.

It was an exhausting but exciting week. It was a tremendous bonus to get to sit in on actual groups. Knowing how the program works is wonderful as I can explain it to parents if need be. I plan on using the "check-in" not only in my counseling of students but also in my classes. This program should be required as it is very informational and well done. Thank you for an eye-opening week.

This program was very enjoyable. The scheduling was great, everyone from the Foundation was wonderful, and the food was very good. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience.
