Teachers in Residence Program
Rimrock Foundation's Teachers in Residence Program is designed for teachers, counselors, and administrators who wish to be or currently are involved in school-based programs designed to prevent drug abuse or to intervene on troubled youth.
The program offers sixty intensive academic and clinical training hours spanning five work days. Assured of a varied and high-impact learning experience, participants will attend lectures, films, therapeutic programs, and multi-disciplinary clinical case conferences to learn about:

The program is offered once each June, with a maximum of ten participants. The week begins with a two hour orientation session Sunday evening to assure optimum personal and peer involvement, and concludes on Friday afternoon. Participants will live on-site at the Foundation or in nearby Montana State University-Billings student dormitories.

The Foundation will provide selected literature, and offers a reference library containing professional journals, research information, and additional films. An on-site bookstore offers the best literature available on the subject of addictions.
For those wishing to enroll in this course for credit, Montana State University-Billings will award 3 graduate credits for successful completion
of the course. A letter grade will be assigned. There is a $375.00 registration
fee for the program. The program is also approved for continuing education
units from the Office of Public Instruction.
The State of Montana Addictive and Mental Disorders Division will recognize this program for points toward chemical dependency counselor certification.
