Rimrock Foundation offers the region’s largest addiction research library, and is seen as the source for information by a wide range of audiences to include schools, professionals, the public at large, and our own current and former patients.
Education plays an ever increasing role in understanding and combating addictions. We encourage you to take advantage of this marvelous resource.
Our holdings include books, pamphlets, magazines, plus audio and video tapes. Materials may be borrowed by visiting the library in person, or by telephone request.
Rimrock Foundation developed a library which was intended to serve Montana and the surrounding region as a specialty library dealing primarily with information on addictions.
Check out some resources from our library online.
In addition to offering the free materials available from the Publications Office, Rimrock Foundation also operates a retail bookstore where the public may purchase the latest information available on addictions and related topics.
Over the years this division has produced numerous pieces that have enhanced the quality of care our patients receive, as well as help establish Rimrock Foundation as a leader in the field of addiction treatment services.
The purpose of Rimrock Foundation’s Facts Sheets is to report the newest technologies for prevention and treatment approaches in reducing the devastating health and societal effects of drug use and addiction.
A tremendous opportunity exists to effectively change the ways in which the public understands drug abuse and addiction because of the wealth of scientific data NIDA has amassed. Overcoming misconceptions and replacing ideology with scientific knowledge is the best hope for bridging the “great disconnect” – the gap between the public perception of drug abuse and addiction and the scientific facts.
