teen alcohol treatment

teen drug treatment Drug Dependency is defined as the unhealthy relationship of a person to mood-altering chemical in expectation of a rewarding experience.

There is a clear advantage to the Rimrock Foundation drug dependency treatment program — one that makes all the difference toward recovery rather than relapse. Our program treats patients with dignity and respect, we provide a highly trained staff, and family members are an integral part of therapy.

Rimrock Foundation is total care facility for treating the whole person. We directly address the physical and psychological elements of drug dependency, and the defeating beliefs that accompany addiction. We give our patients and family members an unparalleled understanding about themselves, their disease, their thinking patterns, and alternative behaviors necessary for abstinence from mood-altering chemicals. We introduce patients to the healing principles of Narcotics Anonymous, and help them complete the first five steps during Inpatient treatment.

In a progressive, flexible program tailored to each patient's needs, we focus on our patient's relationships with mood-altering chemicals. Low self-image, a sense of powerlessness, a desire to control, a strong defense system, delusion and other psychological complications are all part of the disease, and are addressed in this state-of-the-art program.

The Family Program

When a loved one becomes drug dependent, their behavior changes. To accommodate these changes in the addict, each family member changes his or her own behavior. Unfortunately, however, the accommodations and changes do not help, and family members feel confused, fearful, inadequate, unworthy and ashamed.

The Foundation helped pioneer the concept of family treatment because of our belief that addiction involves the entire family; each member suffers with the dependent person, and requires special care and attention. Our intensive family week program is designed to help each family member discover new, healthy ways to cope with life and recovery.
